Ingredients
  • 4 c. apple cider or unsweetened apple juice
  • 2 ¼ c. water
  • ¾ c. orange juice concentrate
  • ¾ t. ground nutmeg
  • ¾ t. ground ginger
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Orange slices, additional cinnamon sticks, garnish
Instructions
  1. In 3 qt. slow cooker, combine the cider, water, orange juice concentrate, nutmeg and ginger.
  2. Place cloves and cinnamon sticks on a double thickness of cheesecloth. Bring up the corners of cloth and tie with string to form a bag.
  3. Place bag in slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or until heated through.
  5. Remove and discard spice bag.
  6. Garnish with orange slices and additional cinnamon sticks if desired.
