Vickie's Award Winning Blueberry Banana Pie
Ingredients
- 1 baked pie shell or graham cracker crust
- 1 c. blueberry pie filling
- 1 (3-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 2 large bananas, sliced
- ½ c. sugar
- 1 small container Cool Whip
Instructions
- Slice bananas into pie shell.
- Combine sugar and cream cheese. Beat until smooth.
- Add Cool Whip to the sugar/cream cheese mixture. Mix well.
- Spoon over the bananas.
- Pour pie filling over the mixture.
- Refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours before serving.

*****This recipe belongs to my sister-in-law, Vickie Morrow Gibert. She entered this recipe in some 4-H contest. I can remember when Hubby and I would visit in Arnaudville for weekends, and Vickie would be practicing making her dessert. The kitchen would be covered in the pies from one end to the other. She won several awards with this dessert. I promise you it is so simple but one of the best desserts you will ever put in your mouth. Nice and cooling on those hot summer evenings!
