Ingredients
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 ¼ c. water
  • 1 T. vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (14-oz.) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 c. whole milk
  • 1 c. whipping cream
  • 1 container whipped fluffy white frosting
Instructions
  1. Heat oven 350. Spray bottom and sides of 13x9” pan with PAM.
  2. In large bowl, beat cake mix, water, oil, vanilla and eggs with electric mixer on low for 30 seconds, then on medium for 2 minutes, scraping bowl. Pour into baking pan.
  3. Bake as directed on cake mix box. Let stand 5 minutes.
  4. Poke top of hot cake with a long-tined fork, wiping fork occasionally to reduce sticking.
  5. In bowl, stir together, condensed milk, whole milk and whipping cream.
  6. Carefully pour over top of cake. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until mixture is absorbed into cake.
  7. Frost with white icing. Store covered in refrigerator.
Notes
*****Tres Leches is Spanish for 3 milks.
