Today I am giving you a TIP! We all know this month is the beginning of SPRING and best time of the year to get wonderful ASPARAGUS! Here is how to have PERFECTLY COOKED SPEARS OF ASPARAGUS! Drop the spears in boiling salted water. It goes quicker than you think! About 2 minutes in (depending on thickness of the spears), take some tongs and lift the cooked bright-green spear in the center. If both ends droop slightly, you are GOOD TO GEAUX!
