Good Morning Foodies!  Today, I want to draw your attention to an upcoming Gumbo Cook-off.  It is to be held at Frank’s on West Landry Street in Opelousas.  It will be this coming Saturday, January 26th, beginning at 8 a.m.  Judging begins at 2:30 p.m.  The cook-off benefits the most darling young lady, Miya Norse.  She is 14 years old and battling cancer.  There will be a lot of activities, as well as, items auctioned off.  I am offering an ITALIAN DINNER FOR EIGHT PEOPLE.  You know me, I always cook more than needed.  Come check it out and help out a great cause.  I will have Mel, my PA, working the crowd.  She will try to bribe you to bid on my dinner.   Keep this young lady in your prayers!

Caesar Salad and Dressing Spinach Manicotti with Herb Cheese and Marinara Sauces
Grilled Lamb Rack or Grilled Pork Tenders with Red Wine Reduction Sauce

Individual Chocolate Lava Cakes with Raspberry Sauce
