Taormina – ruins and town. My favorite so far.

October 10, 2013, Todays drive to Taormina Took a ski lift up to the ruins and town. My favorite so far. Beautiful churches hotels restaurants and shops of course. Actually saw a wedding look at the view!

A little lunch is necessary. We had most wonderful apps and did pizza and paninis with a little pasta carbonara Sandwiches were divine. I had all grilled veggies, one was club, and other was ham and cheese. Yummy

Look at super sized coke and always room for gelato Beautiful day!

Dinner/Supper: Started with Arancini (fried rice balls); thin slices of fried eggplant wrapped around pasta/marinara sauce; wonderful salad; buttered fresh carrots; thin baby veal rolls dredged in pistachios. Rolled myself back to the room!
