SUMMER WINDING DOWN!

Good Morning Foodies!

The summer time is when we gather to take family pics for the upcoming Christmas Card adventure. With the pandemic hanging around, we had to be creative in getting those pics done! YEP-DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every time we gather for those pics, HUBBY and I insist on also taking individual pictures. PEEPS are so confused by this. I said, “YOU MIGHT NEED IT FOR AN OBITUARY!” Well, when I tell you the way they gasped, they almost sucked all the air out of the room. They were stunned. So, here is how you make this work in their minds. I then said, “YOUR DAD OR I MIGHT NEED IT FOR MATCH.COM!” Funny, how they like the obituary story better!

All silliness aside, as summer starts to wind down, I like to make sure I have accomplished a few things to help me count my wonderful blessings!

PAPER PLATES AND PLASTIC FORKS ARE VACATION CHINA!
BUILD A SANDCASTLE!
GO FISHING!
CATCH LIGHTNING BUGS!
CONNECT WITH NATURE NOT TECHNOLOGY!
SHARE YOUR LAUGHTER!
FIND THE BIG DIPPER!
MORE MEN GRILLING AND LESS WOMEN IN THE KITCHEN (ESPECIALLY LIKE THAT ONE)!
SKIP-ROCKS/CHORES/ROPE!
SEND A MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE!
FLIP-FLOPS RULE!

We should all remember this, “We make a LIVING by what we GET, We make a LIFE by what we GIVE!”

MOST IMPORTANTLY, WHILE GAZING AT THE STARS-THROW KISSES TO THOSE WHO AE ABOVE US AND WATCHING OUT FOR US! ALWAYS THANK GOD!
