STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES!

Good Morning Foodies! I thought I would share with you, all my lovely flowers, which are so pretty right now. Forget it when the HOT, HOT, HOT DAYS OF SUMMER, get here. Then you get tired of watering, ugh! You say to yourself, “WHY DID I PLANT ALL THOSE FLOWERS?” As for now, I am going to enjoy them as long as I can, before I start cussing them! I love flowers and love to give them as gifts and receive them. I always warn HUBBY, about not giving me roses. I think they are beautiful and when I do receive them, I love them, but to me, ROSES, TAKE NO THOUGHT! When I get an arrangement of unusual flowers, I always think to myself, NOW THAT PERSON TOOK AN EXTRA MOMENT AND THOUGHT ABOUT ME AND THAT MAKES ME FEEL SPECIAL! Some of my favorites are SUNFLOWERS, TULIPS AND ALL LILLIES! In my earlier days of marriage, I always made HUBBY give me something that I could plant in the ground. I received everything from fruit trees to flowering trees and shrubs. So, now you know, why my yard, is so full of blooming things. When I look around in my yard, I feel the love and extra thought that went into the gifts I received, as opposed to the flowers, you had to throw out in the garbage after a few days! Another tip: PLANT FLOWERS THAT YOU CAN USE AS CUTTINGS IN YOUR HOME FOR JUST THE BEAUTY OF IT OR WHEN YOU NEED SOMETHING WHEN YOU ENTERTAIN AND DECORATE FOR SOME SPECIAL EVENT!
