STAYING FOCUSED ON THE RIGHT THINGS!

Good Morning Foodies!

I looked at the calendar and realized how fast the rest of this year will zoom by. I really try not to look too far down the road, but some days just can’t be helped. My GODMOTHER, had this great framed saying in her home. Of courses, I was little and thought nothing of it, but today it makes a great impression on me!
It goes like this: “Even though there are days, I wish I could change some things that happened in the PAST, there is a reason the REAR VIEW MIRROR is so small and the WINDSHIELD is so big—where you are HEADED is much more important than what you left BEHIND!”
We must all CHANGE the way we see THINGS and only then do THINGS you see will CHANGE!
One thing for sure, I can sum up everything I have learned about LIFE—IT GOES ON!
Don’t let LIFE LEAVE YOU BEHIND!

THE WALKING LADIES OF ST. LANDRY PARISH (CATHY HEBERT, SUSIE GLOWACKI, CYNTHIA LORMAND and ALICE MORROW), will be receiving the LEADERS IN PHILANTHROPY AWARDS today at the CAJUNDOME CONVENTION CENTER, beginning at 10:30 AM. We were so excited and very blessed to receive this honor. We well know it is not possible without the support of our community. This award is just as much yours as ours. This is a joint community effort! THANK YOU-COMMUNITY for your all you do!
