ST. PADDY’S DAY!!!
Today’s Menu:
Good Morning Foodies! I hope you all enjoyed this weekend. There were so many activities going on all over the place. We enjoyed our MORROW CLAN RUN FOR THE CURE RACE in Lafayette. There were sooooooooooo many people. My nephews, ALEX ANDRADE AND JOHN BIENVENU, owners and chefs of the famous “RUSTED ROOSTER” in Lafayette, provided a most fabulous lunch for all of us. We gathered at my niece’s house, ALICIA LAPORTE GANDY. We had a few laughs and I suggested that we all attempt BUNGY JUMPING for our next family gathering. It is quick and gives you more time to visit. I also told them that we could be training for THE AMAZING RACE—if they ever do a series that includes a FAMILY CLAN! We got this covered! We all know, around the world today, is SAINT PATRICK’S DAY! This day is widely celebrated and observed for the patron saint of the IRISH people. Regardless of our own heritage, on this day, aren’t we all a bit IRISH?
I think the IRISH BLESSING pretty much sums up this day.
“MAY THE ROAD RISE UP TO MEET YOU.
MAY THE WIND ALWAYS BE AT YOUR BACK.
MAY THE SUN SHINE WARM UPON YOUR FACE.
MAY THE RAIN FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS.
AND UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN,
MAY GOD HOLD YOU IN THE HOLLOW OF HIS HAND”!
I hope your day is filled with FOUR-LEAF CLOVERS!!!!!!!!!!!
All you basketball fans, we all know MARCH MADNESS SELECTION began yesterday and the games begin this week. I don’t know about you, but “I TRY NOT TO LIMIT MY MADNESS JUST TO MARCH!”
Have a very GREEN AND MADDENING DAY!
