Good Morning Foodies!  When you look at today’s menu, I want you to know that these came from some of my friends and followers.  The first one is HAM!  I know you are thinking, just go buy that HONEY HAM and be done with it.  When my family first moved to Opelousas, we became friends, with the Bullaras, and were always invited, on summer vacati…on to Florida with them.  My kids will tell you that was so much fun and created great memories.  Mr. Vernon (Poppa Vernon) and Ms. Sis Schwartzenburg were so gracious to include us.  They already had a tribe with just their kids and grand kids.  Ms. Sis would make the best baked ham that I ever had.  I am ashamed to say, that I also found it too easy, to buy the ham already done.  I promise you this ham is worth it.  It is very simple but divine.  The Chantilly Cake comes from Ms. Phyllis Guidry.  I saw her at church last week and said she would share this beautiful dessert.  It looks so good.  I know it must be as sweet as she is.  Thank you all for sharing your most precious gifts with us all!  Have a great day!
