Good Morning Foodies! When I looked at today’s menu, it made me realize how lucky we are to have at hand our fabulous seafood selections along with all the veggies, etc. Leave it to us, to figure out what to do with leftover “CRAWFISH ETOUFFEE”—SOMETIMES I AM NOT SURE THERE IS SUCH A THING AS LEFTOVER ETOUFFEE!!! If you are lucky to have some leftover, give the fried crawfish etouffee balls a try—you will love them. Of course, anything fried is yummy! The other day on my way to exercise, I spotted a sign at a fast food business that said, “TRY OUR FRIED OREOS—ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT IT WAS A GOOD THING I WAS ON MY WAY TO EXERCISE! Today’s little dessert treat is one of my GRAND PEEPS’ FAVORITES! I try to always have a zip-lock bag full in my freezer at all times. Once you make them, you will see what I am talking about. Our weather at times may be flaming hot and muggy but because of this we have access to these items longer than most of our neighboring states. So as the saying goes, “IF YOU HAVE LEMONS, MAKE LEMONADE!” This is the time to can and freeze the items that we love so much so that you can have them all year round!
Have a great day!
