Satsuma Glazed Ham
Ingredients
- 1 (10-lb.) bone-in spiral cut ham
- 1 c. good quality honey
- 3 T. Satsuma zest
- 1 c. Satsuma juice
- ¼ c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
- ¼ c. butter
- 1 t. salt
- 1 t. Tabasco
Instructions
- Preheat oven 325. In roasting pan, lined with foil, place ham cut side down. Cover with foil and bake 2 hours.
- In saucepan, combine honey, Satsuma zest and juice, sugar, butter, salt and Tabasco.
- Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 15-20 minutes.
- Uncover ham and brush with sauce. Bake 30 minutes more, brushing with glaze every 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let rest 10 minutes. Serve.
