Today I am featuring a very unique product. If you recall, when I posted about the LSU CHAMPIONSHIP WINES FROM MANOS, I got this offer for WINE CHIPS! Yep, you heard me. Of course, I had to order some and see what this is all about. The add begins with these words, “MADE WITH LOVE, WHILE DRINKING WINE!” The WINE CHIPS were made because the vendors love wine and cheese (who doesn’t), but realized that putting the cheese IN the wine was a bad idea. So, in 2017, over a glass of wine (maybe one or two), they wished for something simple, portable, endlessly snackable, cheese-ladened and delicious. And just like that (ok, it took a lot of work, a lot of samples, a lot of wine and the dedication of more than a few amateur chip connoisseurs), the WINE CHIP was born.
