Good Morning Foodies! I was hoping to have some of those good ole Creole Tomatoes by now but we all know that crazy winter sort of pushed back the time for them to bloom. At least mine, are not there yet! If you are lucky to have some great tomatoes, you will enjoy today’s menu! Splurge a little and try the HEIRLOOM TOMATOES! They are great and a wonderful way to use them.
Today’s gadget for E’s Kitchen in Lafayette, LA is THE FLIP-TIP DIGITAL THERMOMETER.
This thermometer is better known as the “CHARCOAL COMPANION”!
The thermometer comes with adjustable-depth silicone gauge that allows for consistent probe placement for more accurate readings while grilling. The probe locks into the multiple angles for easier monitoring and closes flat for convenient storage.
The thermometer will monitor temperatures from -60 degrees F to 550 degrees F (51 degrees C to 288 degrees C).
You can easily switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit with toggle button on the back.
The length of the probe is 4.33 inches and the total length, including the probe is 10.62 inches.
This should come in handy as we all head outdoors and start up those grills and pits.
