July 22, 2014:
Good Morning Foodies! Today’s menu is a great one for grilling and sitting outside and enjoying some of this crazy cool weather we get every now and then. Amazing when that humidity drops how pleasant things can be.
The gadget today fr…om E’S KITCHEN IN LAFAYETTE, LA is an OIL MISTER.
The OIL MISTER spreads a light, even coating of any oil with a push of a button. It is an eco-friendly alternative to aerosol cooking spays and hard-to-clean basting brushes. Just fill the glass reservoir with your oil of choice, twist and pump.
*Spreads a thin, even coating of oil with a push of button.
*You choose the quality and type of oil to use.
*Built-in-clog-free filter ensures even spray distribution.
*Great for low-fat, no-mess cooking.
*Use it to prepare veggies for grilling, mist bake ware before dusting with flour and control the amount of oil used when you saute and stir-fry.
*Also great for oiling bruschetta.
*Easy-to-fill wide-mouth glass oil reservoir.
*Non-aerosol, BPA-free, recyclable housing and mechanism.
I know I would use this a great deal. I am always misting oil for most of my cooking methods.
Now, just a reminder that the “KITCHEN WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL AUGUST 4TH”! I do get a little nervous about boat trips. I have a tendency to get a little sea-sick. I try to cover all my bases: PUT THE PATCH ON BEHIND THE EAR; THE WRIST BAND AND THE GREAT PILL CALLED
“ANTIVERT”! I don’t know which one works so I have them all. Nothing worse than being on a vessel for a week and being sick the whole time. I am determined not to get sick and enjoy this adventure. You know how the saying goes, “YOU MUST BE WILLING TO ACCEPT CHANGE AND CHALLENGES, IF NOTHING EVER CHANGED THERE WOULD BE NO BUTTERFLIES!” This will help me to “LEARN FROM YESTERDAY, LIVE FOR TODAY AND HOPE FOR TOMORROW!”
Check out my site and see what adventures we accomplish on this ALASKA BOAT TRIP!
Have a safe and productive time while I am away!!!!!!!!!!
