MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVANCE!

Good Morning Foodies!

Have you ever thought what qualifies someone to be a HERO? We see them in movies, read about them in books, see them on the news—-there are many types of HEROES! I know I have had many HEROES in my LIFETIME! It is someone you RESPECT—someone you LOOK UP TO—someone who is GENEROUS OF SPIRIT—someone who is willing to GROW and LEARN! HEROES make the most out of life no matter what people may think of them or how they judge them. I just have to look around me and see that my FAMILY and FRIENDS are my HEROES! These are the people who help mold you and, when all those elements come together, FAMILY and FRIENDS are what holds you and your principles together!

With all that said, on this MEMORIAL DAY, it is time to pay homage to those HEROES who fought and gave their lives for our freedoms of today! These were the people who could say, “ALWAYS STAND FOR WHAT IS RIGHT, EVEN IF YOU ARE STANDING ALONE!” You can just look at these individuals and hear them say, “LET YOUR FAITH BE BIGGER THAN YOUR FEAR!” So just remember when you get to end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on! We may not know them personally but they deserve all the respect that we would give to our FAMILY AND FRIENDS!

Today is another special day in the MORROW HOUSEHOLD! GRAND PEEP, SAVANNAH, is graduating from the eighth grade and heading to HIGH SCHOOL at THE ACADEMY OF THE SACRED HEART IN GRAND COTEAU! HUBBY and I are so glad that we get to experience these little milestones in the lives of our loved ones! My HEART AND FACE ARE HAPPY!

Enjoy your MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND, but take PAUSE, and REMEMBER THESE BRAVE SOULS!
