Ingredients
  • 2 cans bean dip
  • 1 pkg. dry Taco seasoning
  • 2-3 cartons of store-bought avocado dip or homemade
  • 1 pkg. Good Seasons Italian Dressing mix
  • Tabasco to taste
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 1 can chopped green chilies, drained
  • 1 (10-12 oz.) jar sliced jalapenos, drained
  • Shredded sharp cheddar cheese or Mexican blend cheese
  • Chopped tomatoes, red onion, green onion, shredded lettuce, drained black beans, optional
  • Corn chips or pita chips
Instructions
  1. Mix bean dip with the Taco seasoning package. Spread into a flat serving dish. Make this a thin layer, as if you were icing a cake.
  2. Mix the avocado dip with the Italian dressing pack. Add Tabasco to taste. Spread this over the bean layer.
  3. Mix sour cream with green chilies. Spread this over the avocado layer.
  4. Top with jalapeno slices and shredded cheese.
  5. Cover with saran wrap and let sit overnight or a couple of hours.
  6. You can place the garnish ideas on the side or on top of the dip.
  7. Serve with corn chips, Doritos, pita chips, etc.
