Layered Mexican Dip
Ingredients
- 2 cans bean dip
- 1 pkg. dry Taco seasoning
- 2-3 cartons of store-bought avocado dip or homemade
- 1 pkg. Good Seasons Italian Dressing mix
- Tabasco to taste
- 16 oz. sour cream
- 1 can chopped green chilies, drained
- 1 (10-12 oz.) jar sliced jalapenos, drained
- Shredded sharp cheddar cheese or Mexican blend cheese
- Chopped tomatoes, red onion, green onion, shredded lettuce, drained black beans, optional
- Corn chips or pita chips
Instructions
- Mix bean dip with the Taco seasoning package. Spread into a flat serving dish. Make this a thin layer, as if you were icing a cake.
- Mix the avocado dip with the Italian dressing pack. Add Tabasco to taste. Spread this over the bean layer.
- Mix sour cream with green chilies. Spread this over the avocado layer.
- Top with jalapeno slices and shredded cheese.
- Cover with saran wrap and let sit overnight or a couple of hours.
- You can place the garnish ideas on the side or on top of the dip.
- Serve with corn chips, Doritos, pita chips, etc.
