"It's Alive" Frankenstein Goodies
Ingredients
- 40 large marshmallows
- ¼ c. butter
- Green food coloring
- 6 c. rice krispie cereal
- 1 ½-2 c. dark chocolate chips
- Decorating gel icings
- 24 candy eyes
- Any other decorative things you would like
Instructions
- Line a 9” square pan with foil, with 2” of the foil overhanging on 2 sides.
- Spray with PAM.
- Heat marshmallows and butter in saucepan until melted and smooth, stirring constantly.
- Add food coloring, drop by drop, until you achieve the color green you want. Remove from heat.
- Immediately stir in cereal. Mix until completely coated.
- Pour cereal mixture into pan. Spread evenly with rubber spatula that is sprayed with PAM.
- Let rest 20-30 minute or until firm. Using the foil that is overhanging as handles, remove bars from pan. Cut into 12 rectangles.
- Melt chocolate in microwaveable bowl on Medium for 1 minute. Stir. Microwave at 30 second intervals until melted and smooth.
- Dip tops of bars into melted chocolate, allowing drips to resemble hair.
- Place on waxed paper lined baking sheet. Let cool until firm. Add facial features as you like and decorate with gel icings.
