As you can see from your calendar, summer is almost half over for those school kiddies! I see signs for school supplies, shoes, uniforms, etc. Yep, almost time again.

I am trying to hold on to my garden a little longer and get my hands on crabmeat. This is the time of year that I love crabmeat. It helps provide great ideas for those meals where heat is not involved. Like that, when it is 90 plus degrees!

Before closing out today, I would be remiss if I did not comment on the horrible events of this past week. I am not saying my words are that important but I think we all need to address this issue in a calm and forgiving way. I have always heard that when you harbor bitterness, HAPPINESS will dock elsewhere! I try to remember that everyone you meet deserves to be greeted with a SMILE! We should try to embrace the fact that under EVERYONE’S HARD SHELL is someone who just wants to be APPRECIATED AND LOVED! We all need to spread LOVE and not HATE!
