HOP, HOP, HOP-THEN SKIP, SKIP, SKIP-THEN JUMP, JUMP, JUMP FOR JOY!!

Good Morning Foodies!

Next week is the beginning of EASTER HOLY WEEK! I am looking forward to having some normalcy for EASTER this year. My birthday falls on EASTER SUNDAY this year. Will try to enjoy both events as best I can. I always like to think that we are creating great memories for the younger generation no matter what obstacles may come our way.

You know as we get older, hopefully we become wiser, or things seem to make more sense. There are so many things I wish I could tell my children and grandchildren but we all know that life is a learning process. The mistakes that come, teach us new things as well. EVERYDAY WE DECIDE WHO WE WILL BE BY THE ACTIONS WE TAKE AND THE DECISIONS WE MAKE!

I had this UNCLE BOB AND AUNT NIS, that I would go and visit during the summers in north Louisiana, when I was a child. They were very religious. Every time we sat down to eat a meal, we said a blessing and then UNCLE BOB would give a very short speech. One thing that always stuck in my mind was this saying-“THE FIRST TO APOLOGIZE IS THE BRAVEST! THE FIRST TO FORGIVE IS THE STRONGEST! THE FIRST TO FORGET IS THE HAPPIEST!” I think that says it all!

I hope with the upcoming EASTER HOLIDAYS, you get to share it with loved ones, those who are alone, and possibly make new friends, to add to your family. It is so nice to be surrounded by so much love.
You know the famous saying: I BELIEVE IN THE SUN EVEN WHEN IT IS NOT SHINING!

I BELIEVE IN LOVE EVEN WHEN I AM ALONE! I BELIEVE IN GOD EVEN WHEN HE IS SILENT!
