Good Morning Foodies: I hope you all got to enjoy this beautiful weekend. Saturday was just gorgeous. It was so nice to see the sun and get some of that VITAMIN D! Sunday was not as great but okay! Looks like we are in for another round of cold, rainy weather this week. Hold on! We all know that this week is probably the most important day for all people in LOVE! Personally, it is the one day, I rather stay home and just do a simple, one on one type of day! You know, you go to a nice restaurant at either 5 p.m. or 9 p.m. If you go early, you have the waiters hovering over you to hurry you along, so they can turn that table. As you leave the restaurant, you get looks from the people waiting for your table. I rather spare myself of all that misery. I always tell HUBBY – NEVER, NEVER, NEVER send me RED ROSES. He had to learn the hard way. I am just like the next guy—I love roses and yes, red roses, but not on that day—it shows no thought of stepping out of the box and doing something different! I would rather have a fruit tree or some beautiful arrangement of sunflowers, etc. This shows me you took the time and thought about what would really make a difference! So I guess today, I am not on the top of the list for restaurants and florists. I love these people but on this day, I want my significant other to put extra care and thought into this beautiful day!

I ALWAYS TRY TO REMEMBER THAT I CAN BE YOUNG AT HEART—BUT SLIGHTLY OLDER IN OTHER PARTS OF MY BODY!
