Halloween Cookie Wands
Ingredients
- 12 chocolate sandwich cookies or Oreos
- 12 decorative lollipop sticks or Popsicle sticks
- 1 (11.5-oz.) bag white chocolate chips
- Halloween-colored sugar and nonpareils
- Black decorating icing or gel
Instructions
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Insert sticks halfway into cream center of cookies.
- Place on baking sheet and refrigerate 15 minutes.
- Microwave chocolate chips in bowl on MEDIUM for 1 minute. Stir and microwave at 30 second intervals until melted and smooth.
- Working one at a time, hold cookie pop by the stick and dip into melted chocolate until completely coated. Rotate to let excess drip off.
- Immediately dip in orange crystals. Place on baking sheet and chill until firm, about 10 minutes.
- With icing or gel, make Jack-O-Lantern faces on the cookies.
Notes
*****If you feel the stick is not secure, use a small amount of melted chocolate to adhere.
