GRATITUDE!

Good Morning Foodies!

I really try not to think of countdown days to CHRISTMAS. I rather try and stop each day and become aware of what is happening around me and scoop up the positive things and be GRATEFUL!

It does not have to be something huge, but something as simple as a SMILE FROM A STRANGER; A HUG FROM A GRAND PEEP; A NICE COMPLIMENT FROM A CO-WORKER OR JUST A SILLY MOMENT OF LAUGHTER WITH A DEAR FRIEND!

Have you ever noticed that when you see someone YAWN it makes you YAWN! I often wonder why that is! If you are looking for an answer—I DON’T HAVE IT! I just know when I wake up in the morning and YAWN—it is my SILENT SCREAM FOR COFFEE!

I was thinking with all the hoopla starting to creep into my daily life—COFFEE plays a huge part in getting through each hectic day! My Montra for the month of DECEMBER is to have COFFEE in HAND, have my BIG GIRL PANTIES pulled UP, a SPARKLE in my EYE, and a SMILE on my FACE! Yep, I am ready for the DAY….BRING IT ON!

One important thing that I learned from my parents about life is that “TROUBLES THAT ARE SHARED ARE HALVED! JOYS THAT ARE SHARED ARE DOUBLED!

With all the craziness, ask for help—no shame there! With all the craziness going on in the world today, we really need to look after each other and pray for peace and love in the world!

SMILE AND EMBRACE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON!

Whenever “REMEMBERING PEARL HARBOR” comes around each year, I often wonder if the younger generations really know what this is! We all know, as time passes, we tend to forget what certain things mean or what their significance is! I believe the younger generations probably can’t relate to anything that happened before 9/11! We as the older generation should try to keep certain memories shared, especially if they are important to why our country is what it is today! So, if you have time today, try to share this important date, DECEMBER 7TH, in history with someone who may not understand this very important date in time!

Have a safe and productive weekend!
