GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Good Morning Foodies!

I hope you all get to gather with family and friends, eat some barbeque, eat some home-made ice cream, cool off in some water hole, enjoy some fireworks and just be thankful for our great country. I also think it is another day we can still pay homage to our great military people. It is because of them that we can do all these fun things! REAL HEROES DON’T WEAR CAPES—THEY WEAR DOG TAGS! It is another great way to spend time with love ones and friends.

There is still the kid in me that likes to sees fireworks and I am perfectly content eating a GOOD OLE HOT DOG!
In all honesty, my favorite menu for this holiday is the following:
Grilled Burgers/Hot Dogs
A Wonderful Potato Salad
A Big Bag of Potato Chips
A Nice Cold Watermelon
Some Great Home-made Ice Cream

Top all that off with some Firework Sprinkles and I am a happy girl! SIMPLE WORKS BEST FOR ME ON THIS HOLIDAY!!! I hope you all have a great and safe holiday no matter where you might be! Just remember, “DON’T LET WHAT YOU CANNOT DO INTERFERE WITH WHAT YOU CAN DO!”
Also remember: “EVERY HEART BEAT TRUE FOR THE RED, WHITE AND BLUE!”

HEADS UP, KITCHEN GOING TO BE CLOSED FOR A QUITE LENGTHLY TIME. I HAVE SOME BIG FAMILY EVENTS COMING-UP. KITCHEN CLOSED FROM JULY 1-16TH. Have no fear, you will be able to follow me on the FAMILY ADVENTURE!
