Fresh Snap Peas with Herbs
Ingredients
- 1 lb. sugar snap peas
- Salt
- 1 T. butter
- 2 T. olive oil
- 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 T. chopped fresh dill
- 1 T. chopped fresh thyme
- Black pepper
Instructions
- Bring salted water to a boil and add peas and cook until tender-crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Drain.
- In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil.
- Add the onion, thyme and dill and cook until onion softens.
- Add peas and season to taste. Toss until heated through.
- Serve.
