EVENTS START LINING UP!!

Good Morning Foodies!
I don’t know about you but it always seems like when school starts up, my calendar starts to fill up. We all know schools, organizations, sporting events, church activities and just family gatherings start to mount up. Needless to say, the PANDEMIC has made us readjust what we can attend or allowed to attend. This is a whole different ball game.
If for some reason, you have children or grandchildren involved in more than one school—you get the double or triple whammy! This is when you need to sit down with family and make a list of priorities. You should not kill yourself to try to accomplish every activity. If you spread yourself, too thin, you don’t enjoy any activity. The world will go on if you can’t make every scheduled event.
Being blessed with “9” GRAND PEEPS, HUBBY and I have missed some wonderful events because of the VIRUS! I know we can’t turn back the clock, but trying really hard to accept these changes. Can say, not the easiest thing to do! We try to hold on to certain moments thinking nothing will ever be the same, or will ever be this good, or this bad—but yes, life does go on, no matter how much you want to keep certain things as is. “IT JUST DOESN’T WORK THAT WAY!” Try to remember this wonderful saying: “LIFE IS LIKE A RIVER, YOU CANNOT TOUCH THE SAME WATER TWICE, BECAUSE THE FLOW THAT HAS PASSED, WILL NEVER PASS AGAIN—-SO ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF LIFE!”
This is how I try to look at things that come along in my life:
“WHEN YOU LOOK BACK AND FEEL THE REMORSE OF WHAT YOU MISSED OR FAILED TO DO—WHEN YOU ARE AFRAID TO LOOK FORWARD BECAUSE IT WILL BE TO OVERWHELMING—JUST LOOK AT THE LOVED ONES BESIDES YOU—THIS IS THE ONLY THING THAT COUNTS!”

SAINTS PLAY THEIR FIRST FOOTBALL GAME THIS SUNDAY-PITTSBURG STEELERS (AWAY)! OH, wait that got cancelled. All pre-season games cancelled! Watch out!
