Crunchy Potato Dogs
Ingredients
- ½ c. water
- 2 T. butter
- ½ c. milk
- 1 (10-oz.) pouch Betty Crocker Ultimate Loaded Mashed Potatoes
- 1 pouch Cheese Sauce from the potato box
- 5 wooden skewers
- 5 beef hot dogs
- ½ c. crushed potato chips or corn chips or your favorite chip and flavors
- Mayo, mustard, catsup, pickles
Instructions
- Heat oven 375. In saucepan, heat water and butter and bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat, stir in milk and 1 pouch of potatoes. Mix until well blended.
- Stir in cheese pouch.
- Insert skewer into hot dog. Pack mashed potato mix around each hot dog, covering completely.
- Roll in crushed chips to coat.
- Place on baking sheet sprayed with PAM.
- Bake 10-15 minutes or until hot dogs are hot and coating is lightly browned.
- Serve with pickles and favorite dipping sauce.
