
Creepy Spider Cookies

1 pouch Betty Crocker peanut butter cookie mix
3 T. oil
1 T. water
1 egg
36 round chewy caramels in milk chocolate
Black and red string licorice
1 tube black decorating gel
72 miniature candy-coated milk chocolate candies
1. Heat oven 375.
2. In bowl, stir cookie mix, oil, water and egg until dough forms.
3. Shape dough into 36 (1”) balls.
4. On ungreased cookie sheet, place balls 2” apart.
5. Bake until light golden brown. Immediately press 1 chewy caramel in center of each cookie.
6. Cool for 2 minutes and move cookies to wire racks.
7. Cut licorice into 8 (2”) pieces for each spider. Attach legs into chewy caramels.
8. Using the gel, attach the candies for eyes and make pupils of eyes.
9. Store in single layer in airtight container.
