Ingredients
  • 1 (16.25 oz.) box Betty Crocker Super Moist White Cake Mix or your favorite brand
  • Red food coloring
  • Green food coloring
  • 1 container Betty Crocker Whipped Cream Cheese Icing
  • Holiday sprinkles
  • Ingredients on Cake Mix Box
Instructions
  1. Mix cake mix according to directions on box and pour ½ of batter into a bowl and then take the remaining batter and divide that into two balls. (You will have 3 bowls of batter.)
  2. To the two smaller bowls, add red food coloring to one and red to the other, mixing well. Add as much to achieve the degree of color you would like.
  3. Pour the plain batter into a Bundt pan sprayed with PAM.
  4. Pour ½ of the red batter over the plain batter, then all of the green and then top off with remaining red batter.
  5. Place in oven and bake following box directions.
  6. While cake is cooling after baking, take frosting and divide into 2 bowls.
  7. Microwave the white frosting for 5-10 seconds on HIGH and then mix well with a spoon until it is smooth. Drizzle over the cooled cake.
  8. Drizzle back and forth all around cake using a striping pattern until all frosting is used.
  9. Microwave the other bowl, then mix in green food coloring and drizzle back and forth all over cake over the white frosting.
  10. Then use holiday sprinkles to decorate the whole cake.
Notes
*****You can vary colors of frosting for different holidays. You can also add red icing if you like to the frosting of the cake. The surprise is when you slice it---BEAUTIFUL!!!!
