CELEBRATING ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING!

Good Morning Foodies!
I happen to be reading the newspaper and also in the background had the TV on and in the far distance, I could hear a radio. All at once, in addition to reading in the paper about upcoming activities, I was also hearing it on the TV and the radio. We all know that there are football jamborees, festivals, fund-raising events, family gatherings, etc. After the long pandemic solitary living, we want to go to them all but have to pick and choose our poison. CHOOSE WISELY!
I always try to select the events that mean the most to me and I know that I will truly enjoy. There is nothing worse than being dragged to something you know that you will not make you happy. I can recall trying to attend everything that my PEEPS had on their schedules. Even today, that still occurs, but now we throw in the GRAND PEEPS. Kids today have way more activities than back in the day. Their activities also require traveling further distances. I just wish for them a life of being able to enjoy the outdoors as opposed to a gaming device sitting on a sofa inside. The outside world is such a great learning place.
I think we all need to remember the following: “At the end of LIFE, what really matters is not what we BOUGHT but what we BUILT; not what we GOT but what we SHARED; not our COMPETENCE but our CHARACTER; and not our SUCCESS, but our SIGNIFICANCE. LIVE a LIFE that MATTERS. LIVE a LIFE of LOVE!
KITCHEN WILL BE CLOSED ON MONDAY, AUGUST 16TH. You know things get crazy this time of year! Don’t forget SAINTS play on SATURDAY, AUGUST 14TH. They play the RAVENS at 6 pm.
Have a safe and productive weekend!
