Crunchy Roasted Broccoli
Ingredients
- 1 large head of fresh broccoli, cut the florets off main stem, wash and drain well
- 3 T. minced garlic
- Olive oil
- Kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder
- Red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Take the broccoli florets (very important that they are dry and not moist from washing them—they will not crisp up if wet) and place in plastic baggie or bowl.
- In the bowl, add the minced garlic, salt, pepper, garlic powder.
- Drizzle with olive oil. Make sure you have enough to cover all the florets.
- Sprinkle the amount of red pepper flakes you like.
- Shake the baggie or mix in the bowl.
- On a baking sheet, lined with foil and sprayed with PAM, spread the florets over the bottom.
- Bake in preheated 375 oven for 20-30 minutes, depending on your oven. They should crisp up.
- Remove from oven and add seasoning if necessary.

*****Makes a great snack. Dip in fat-free dressing or hummus or eat plain.
