MAKING SPIRITS BRIGHT!

Good Morning Foodies!

Well, the long-awaited CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY is quickly approaching!

If you live in LOUISIANA, we all know that the FALL SEASON begins with FOOTBALL SEASON and goes through the next year! Throw in HALLOWEEN, THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS, let us not forget after NEW YEARS’S there is MARDI GRAS! Needless to say, we are never short of celebrating something.
The one thing I know for sure is that this long season of FESTIVITY always involves FOOD, FRIENDS AND FAMILY!
Our gatherings can be as simple as a backyard bbq, a pot-lock supper, any family gathering, cocktail parties and grand celebrations. No doubt in my mind, we know how to do these gatherings.

We should all be inspired in some way to place on that table memorable food that will bring a smile to everyone’s face!
I always try to remember the word “LOVE” when CHRISTMAS is around me! I know I was loved when I was born; I will be loved when I die—it is that time in between, I know I need to manage! We all want to be loved every day.

I always try to remember if I want to walk FAST, walk ALONE; but, if I want to walk FAR, walk TOGETHER!

The nicest place to be is in SOMEONE’S THOUGHTS, the safest place is to be in SOMEONE’S PRAYERS and the very best place to be is in THE HANDS OF GOD!

KITCHEN WILL BE CLOSED FROM DECEMBER 17-27TH. I WILL POST ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 28TH AND WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 29TH TO GIVE YOU SOME MENU IDEAS FOR NEW YEAR’S EVE AND DAY! KITCHEN WILL THEN BE CLOSED FROM DECEMBER 30TH-JANUARY 3. 2022!
