Time Capsule Opening

Please join Mayor Alsandor and City of Opelousas officials, along with the Celebrate 300 Committee, on Sunday, June 14, 2020, to observe the opening of the time capsule that was buried June 14, 1970 in recognition of the 250th anniversary of the city. The opening of the time capsule will take place at 2 p.m. at the Opelousas Police Department (former City Hall) located at 318 N. Court Street in Opelousas.
