Today’s I am sharing with you “TEN THINGS YOU MUST NEVER PUT DOWN A DRAIN”! Some of these are so old I can remember my Grandmother telling me don’t put that down the drain. Then, here we are some “70” years later and still stuffing them down the drain!

TEN THINGS YOU MUST NEVER PUT DOWN A DRAIN!
1-COOKING OIL, MAYO, OIL BASED DRESSINGS (We all know what oil does!)
2-MELTED BUTTER/MARGARINE
3-GREASE OFF OF COOKING CERTAIN FOODS, LIKE BACON
4-EGG SHELLS (Not completely able to dissolve so it clumps in drains)
5-COFFEE GROUNDS (There is oil in them dere’ grinds)
6-PASTA (The semolina flour when gets wet will become gummy)
7-RICE (Same principle as pasta, except rice swells)
8-FLOUR (When mixed with water, makes glue)
9-PRODUCE STICKERS AND RUBBER BANDS (I am so guilty of this! Trust me, I had to have plumber come and get all those little suckers out of my drain)
10-MEDICATION (Just don’t do it)

I know some of you might be thinking what about GARBAGE DISPOSAL. I asked my plumber when he came to get the rubber bands out of my garbage disposal and he pretty much said, all the above if followed makes your GARBAGE DISPOSAL happier!
