Good Morning Foodies! We are 4 weeks away from the Easter Holidays. I am going to try and squeeze in, as much as I can, in this short period of time. I thought I would concentrate on Lenten Meals. When I was planning the posts, I had to laugh at the thought, about not eating meat on Fridays, during Lent. I thought, GOD, really does love us Southern people! If he wanted to make things really tough, he would say, “NO SEAFOOD DURING LENT!” Now, that would be a tough penance! Just imagine giving up Crawfish Boils, Crawfish Etouffee, Crab Boils, BBQ Shrimp, Oyster Po-Boys and Fish Fries! Oh yes, that would be so hard to do. We are so blessed with the abundance of SEAFOOD SELECTIONS, here in Louisiana, and the multitude of ways, of preparing the delicacies of the seas! The thing, that I am most grateful for, is the many opportunities of family and friends to come together and enjoy each other’s company while feasting on these wonderful dishes. If you have a favorite LENTEN DISH, please feel free to share with the site. I know we would all like some new and exciting ideas. Just a reminder if you have seen all the added pics/recipes on the site, this past weekend, it is not new recipes. I was just revamping the albums. I had to move certain recipes around that got dumped into the wrong albums. Have a great day!
