I see this week and next week the SCHOOL BELLS will be ringing! This menu is a good one to bribe your kids at night so they can start going to bed at that “SET SCHOOL TIME FOR BED”! I always remember this was the hardest part getting back on schedule. Takes a few days of adjustment but it happens.

Guess what—have two birthdays today! First, is MEL, my PERSONAL ASSISTANT, on the GAA SITE. MEL is not only my RIGH-HAND GO-TO BUT MY LEFT-HAND GO-TO! Don’t know what I would do without her help on the GEAUXASKALICE FOOD BLOG! She is a miracle worker and most gracious, in any request I make of her! So, today, I want her to have the most fantastic birthday! She is so deserving of all the good things in life!

Second is, GRAND PEEP, SOPHIA who is turning “5 YEARS OLD”! Sophia is so much like her mother, in a good way! She has a kind heart, great smile and the most-bubbly personality! She loves coming to see her GRAMMIE AND POPPA. Now, that is the best gift for HUBBY and ME! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR SWEET SOPHIA! We love you so much!
