This past Tuesday, JUNE 13TH was my wonderful FATHER’S BIRTHDAY. If he wasn’t so busy in HEAVEN, he would be celebrating his “100th” BIRTHDAY here on EARTH! Oh, how he would have loved that! I can truly say, this man loved, loved, loved a party or just any type of gathering. Of his many wonderful characteristics, the one I wish I could soak up into my body and keep it there, is this: “NEVER MISS A TIME TO CELEBRATE, SHARE TIME WITH LOVED ONES, EMBRACE LIFE, DON’T LET THE LITTLE THINGS GET YOU DOWN—but most importantly, EAT THAT CAKE AND ICE CREAM AND ENJOY EVERY BIT OF IT WITHOUT GUILT!” I want to do that every day of my life!

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you sweet FOODIES for the nice comments you made about my dad. As I reflect on this moment in time, all I can see is that this man is “100” and is still remembered! Now that is a most memorable thing for me!
