Quick and Easy Brownie Bourbon Balls
Ingredients
- ⅓ c. applesauce
- ¼ c. egg substitute
- 1 T. water
- 1 (16.7-oz.) pkg. double fudge brownie mix
- Pam
- 3 T. bourbon
- ⅓ c. finely chopped toasted walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven 350.
- Combine applesauce, egg, water and brownie mix (including fudge packet in mix).
- Stir well to blend.
- Spread in 8” square baking pan sprayed with PAM.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted near edge of pan comes out clean.
- Cool in pan.
- Crumble brownies and place in food processor.
- Add bourbon and process until mixture forms a ball.
- Shape brownie into 24 balls (about 1 ½ T. each).
- Place chopped nuts in shallow bowl and roll balls in nuts, pressing gently to coat.
- Store balls in airtight container at room temp for 3 days or freeze.
