Good Morning Foodies! What an amazing weekend our family had celebrating Craig’s induction into the HALL OF FAME at SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY LAW SCHOOL. It was nice to see some of our oldest and dearest friends and family come out and support him. I know he was very humbled and moved by all the attention. We as parents like to think all those whispers into our children’s evolving ears heard some encouraging words like, “WORK HARD IN SILENCE AND LET SUCCESS MAKE THE NOISE!”
THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO WERE THERE TO SHARE THIS GREAT MEMORY FOR HIM AND HIS PARENTS!
Don’t know about your calendar schedule but mine is filling fast with all sorts of events. Really don’t see a free weekend in the near future. I guess it will be alright as long as I am doing fun things with people I love the most!
Today’s menu was one of my DAD’S FAVORITES! I don’t think there was a PASTA DISH he did not love. I think fondly of him every time I cook any of these dishes. Brings a smile to my face! But you know the saying, “SOMETIMES MEMORIES SNEAK OUT OF MY EYES AND ROLL DOWN MY CHEEKS”! Yes, those great memories do tend to roll down quite often, but that is okay. I always want to remember those moments!
