Next Monday, September 11th is the ST. LANDRY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SOIREE ROYALE!
• Event Description:
For the past 18 years, the St. Landry Chamber of Commerce has brought the most amazing dishes from the area’s most notable chefs together for the enjoyment of others. This year will be no different as the Chamber hosts the 2017 Soirée Royale. This culinary competition will be held Monday, September 11, 2017.

The event will have chefs from all over Louisiana to compete in several categories that will consist of Best Appetizer, Best Soup, Best Meat, Best Seafood, Best Chocolate, Best Dessert, Best Yam, People’s Choice Award and Best of Show. These categories will give each chef the opportunity to showcase their culinary abilities.

This is a fundraiser for scholarships for the ST. LANDRY PARISH GRADUATING SENIORS.

I have been a judge for this event for several years. I have been asked to judge again this year. It is a fabulous job. I was so impressed by the creativity of the dishes, not to mention how fabulous they were to eat. If you want to witness something fun and grand, get a group of friends and come pass a good time! The BIG PLUS—FOR A GREAT CAUSE!
