Well after these past few days of torrential rains, I believe we all need to invest in our own “NOAH’S ARK”! I am hoping all those affected by the flooding are getting the needed help to carry on! HUBBY and I commented as we were in NEW ORLEANS while this was going on, it felt just like the calm before the storm of a hurricane. The winds and eerie cloud cover gave you the feeling that something was coming that was not good! Hopefully, recovery won’t be hinder by more rain this coming week.
Our visit to the BIG EASY, as usual, was so nice. There is just something about that city that I love so much. I do wish that they could get better shops on CANAL STREET to draw attention of the tourists. Just too many junkie shops! Such a beautiful street with the STREET CARS, HISTORIC BUILDINGS and the ROARING RIVER close by. I must say the RIVER WALK is improving. Overall, still a great city!

As you can see today’s menu is quite extensive. This week we pay homage to two great SAINTS- SAINT PATRICK AND SAINT JOSEPH!
Since this is the last week I will be posting until after EASTER, I am trying to combine all the foods that would typically be served at my house during these festivities. So come on in and help yourself.
Take note of the BUNNY DESSERTS-my niece, CATHERINE LOFTON OLIVIER, made these for the KIDDIES, last EASTER. They were a hit!
Have a great day!
