Today’s Gadget: Microwavable Bowl Holders
Good Morning Foodies! Today’s menu is a repeat and is well-worth a repeat. HUBBY always cooks a CHRISTMAS GOOSE for the family on CHRISTMAS DAY! I can’t decide which I like better his BAKED DUCKS or the GOOSE. They are both fantastic! So if someone in your family has killed some geese, save one for the CHRISTMAS TABLE! I think your guests will be impressed with the dish!
Today’s gadget is soooooooooooo cute and works like magic. My PA, Mel, gave me two of these “MICROWAVE BOWL HOLDERS”. Her mother makes them. As you can see, you can use your favorite team, holiday or colors of your choice. I see that the stitching has to be so on for the holder to have that cupping shape. I think if I made them it would probably just look like a potholder. I couldn’t wait to use it and it is perfect.
I placed the holder on a plate and then put my gumbo or soup in the bowl and set it into the nesting holder, placed it in the microwave—BAM—it was done. The bowl does not burn your hand! I just love this gadget. I think I will have to get Mel to get me more! Great gift idea.
