Good Morning Foodies! Today’s repeat menu is a nice idea for “MOTHER’S DAY”! As you can see yesterday’s menu was a more simple idea. Today’s is just a little more fancy. You can substitute any seafood for the scallops if they can’t be found.
Today I have several gadgets. The one from E’S KITCHEN IN LAFAYETTE, LA is the CHEF’N SWITCHIT CHERRY MINI SPOON. This is a crazy little gadget that we all need at some point in time. It is a 2-in-1 narrow spoon tool with two usable work ends that are ideal for a variety of jobs at any temperature. The outer silicone construction is flexible, stain-resistant and heat safe to 650 degrees. It is great for getting into tight spaces including jars and mixer paddles. It is top rack dishwasher safe.
The second gadget I saw at my daughter-in-law, Nicole’s house. It is a marker that you can use to write on wine or any beverage glass when you want everyone to keep track of their drink. You know that means less washing of dishes for you! It washes right off! I loved it!
The third gadget was given to me by one of my FOODIES, Kathleen. It is a STEM STRIPPER. It is fabulous for those herbs and veggies that are on stems and you don’t want to stand there and pick off the leaves. You just zip the stem in the size hole that fits and BAM-you are ready to move on. It is fabulous for KALE! I use it for ROSEMARY, THYME, OREGANO—ON AND ON! I highly recommend this gadget!
