Good Morning Foodies! Don’t know how long this old body can keep going. I seriously need some down time to catch up with LIFE! We had a most wonderful time in NO this past weekend celebrating GRAND PEEP, SOPHIA’S THIRD BIRTHDAY! I don’t know when the last time you visited CITY PARK in New Orleans but trust me, great things are happening there. SOPHIA’S party was held in a room called THE ALLIGATOR HOUSE! It is my understanding that they have several dwellings to fit your party needs. The package includes water and lemonade. You can order pizzas and chicken tenders and ice cream. I am sure there might be other things but that is what we had in addition to a fruit and veggie tray. I must say it is a pretty good set up. As everyone arrived they received a wrist band which allowed them on any of the rides in the park. Everyone just ventured out and had a grand time. They were told to come back to the ALLIGATOR HOUSE for the cake cutting. I think it is great that you don’t have to sit there and entertain every child. I would highly recommend this party venue to any of you who are looking for something new and different. By the way, you are assigned a worker that stays there and gets whatever you might need—EVEN A BAND-AID! They are also doing some awesome things with AUDUBON PARK AND ZOO. Next time you are in the BIG EASY, venture out your comfort zone and check out all the beautiful things happening in the two amusement areas. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Today’s menu is using up the last of my CREOLE MATERS!!!!!!! I think I want to cry when I realize I have to go back to eating those waxy tomatoes! Oh well, just spice them up I guess. The pasta dish is one that is a crowd pleaser. PEEPS like it because of the name!
