Good Morning Foodies! Today’s menu features those wonderful treasures from our GULF WATERS—THOSE SALTY PLUMP OYSTERS! If you follow the blog pretty close, you will remember that my friend, JACQUE HARDY, gave me the most beautiful “MOTHER OF PEARL” oyster shells to place on the grill. I had to be really careful when placing them on the grill or oven. They can easily tilt or spill. Well, for my birthday, my daughter-in-law, NICOLE and her family gave me those most wonderful gadget that you can use to cook the oysters, also. The large baking tray has groves to place the oysters in or I can take the “MOTHER OF PEARL” oyster shells and place them in the groves. It just slides right on to the grill or oven and you can serve from it. It is so pretty and functional. It can be purchased at CAROLINE AND COMPANY in LAFAYETTE, LA!
