MOTHER’S ROLE!

Where do I begin when I want to describe the essence of the MOTHERHOOD ROLE! I do know one thing, when you no longer have your MOTHER by your side, you immediately begin to remember all those little sayings, rules, guides that she tried to impress upon you growing up.

I do know that when I think of my MOM, I can always remember her stressing to me, “ALWAYS BELIEVE THAT SOMETHING WONDERFUL IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN!” Those words always made me LIVE FOR TODAY AND DREAM OF TOMORROW!
Just because my MOTHER could not hear or speak she had wisdom way beyond her years. She could have carried the “PITY PILLOW” to the extreme but chose the high road. The following saying, exemplifies her so well: “When LIFE gives you a HUNDRED REASONS to CRY, show LIFE that you have a THOUSAND REASONS to SMILE!”
One important thing she always taught me was that a SMILE is the PRETTIEST thing you can ever WEAR! How true is that!

Two of the funniest things that I can remember about sayings about MOTHERS were:
1-NOTHING IS REALLY LOST, UNTIL YOUR MOTHER CAN NOT FIND IT!
2-Did you ever notice that “MOM”, spelled upside down is “WOW”! I REST MY CASE!
So to all you MOTHERS and those who fulfill the role of MOTHERS, sit back, relax and let those around you, smother you with hugs and kisses! YOU DESERVE IT!
MISS MY MOM EVERY MOMENT OF MY LIFE—ESPECIALLY THOSE MOMENTS, THAT I SO WANT TO SHARE WITH HER!

Kitchen will be closed MONDAY, MAY 15TH. Will be back on TUESDAY, MAY 16TH! If you are interested, QUEEN OF ANGELS CHURCH is having its yearly ROSARY DAY, TUESDAY, MAY 16TH, beginning at 10 AM. Monsignor DeRouen will lead the group in saying the rosary. This takes place in the church. After the rosary, everyone is invited to the CHURCH HALL to gather, chat, visit and partake in some wonderful snacks provided by the SENIOR ANGEL LADIES! It is a most wonderful time to take pause and reflect. Join us if you can!
