IN YOUR OWN BACKYARD!

Good Morning Foodies!

I am totally amazed at the way they are hesitating to reschedule the LSU/FL football game this weekend. That just makes no sense. Safety should prevail over the almighty dollar! This is a very serious hurricane. I hope all are taking note and making plans to get out of harm’s way! Also so sorry to hear about MIKE THE TIGER! I know that PETA GROUP is all over this but I know MIKE is receiving the most loving care. Even though, this is my favorite time of year, it also makes me realize how close the HOLIDAYS are! I really try not to let stores ruin that for me by combining HALLOWEEN, THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS. You can actually go down one aisle in some stores and all these HOLIDAYS are covered! I already feel like, some days MY LIFE is just a TENT away from a CIRCUS, this just adds to the insanity!

Once again, I pull myself back and try to focus on FAMILY! I know TIME spent with FAMILY is WORTH every MINUTE! I always think of that saying, “FAMILY is like BRANCHES on a TREE. We GROW in DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS but yet our ROOTS REMAIN AS ONE!”
I think it is nice when you have family and maybe you didn’t realize that you were making MEMORIES because basically you were just having FUN!

So when you think you have to venture out there to have FUN or create a MEMORY, just stop and look in your own BACKYARD! LOVE is more important than ANYTHING. It is what TIES EVERYTHING completely TOGETHER!

FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE NOT AN IMPORTANT THING—-THEY ARE EVERYTHING!
