HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUBBY!

Good Morning Foodies! Well, the day has finally arrived. It is HUBBY’S BIRTHDAY! Love to celebrate all week. We have a friend that celebrates the whole month when his birthday comes around. I think that is a fantastic thing to do. We all tend to shun away from birthday celebrations—WHAT A BIG NO-NO! This is your special day—go out and eat that cake and then some!…
Hubby and I are always making jokes about aging (yes, not so funny but have to go with it)! I told him the other day, “YOU KNOW THAT TIE-DYED HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DEMISE OF YOUR NECKWARE”! That shows we were the FLOWER CHILD OF THE 60’S AND THEN SOME!!!!
We all know that aging is something we cannot stop or prevent! We are bombarded on TV, Radio, Magazines, Newspapers about all the great things we can do to enhance our looks and health but it is still going to happen. The other day, I realized that HUBBY AND I were now the GREAT AUNTS AND UNCLES for the younger generation. There are no others in front of the line, we are at the HEAD OF THAT LINE! That is a real eye-opener!!!
All in all, here is the bottom line when it comes to having birthdays and increasing in our digital numbers: “DON’T COUNT THE YEARS, MAKE THE YEARS COUNT!”
In closing, just a note, will not be posting on Monday, January 19—have a date with GRAND PEEP, GABRIELLE, for a family photo shoot! Looking forward to some hugging, squeezing and kissing that sweet baby and of course, her big sister, SOPHIA! Will be back on Tuesday, January 20th!
