Today’s Menu:

We are not approaching the completion of WEEK ONE OF LENT! I will try my best to give you as many recipes that will help replacing the meats in your meals for the next 5 weeks. As I said yesterday, for me that is a piece of cake. I do realize that there are FOODIES out there that may not like SEAFOOD or able to tolerate it, so I will also look for other avenues for you.
The ORANGE BARS are a great way to use up some of that citrus on your trees. My father was a big citrus farmer. He always told me to make sure the fruit is off of your trees before March when the new blooms start to sprout. If you keep fruit on your trees, a bloom cannot appear in that spot. You are reducing the citrus production of your trees. Trust me, my FATHER was a great citrus grower.
If you struggle through this, just have another glass of wine—-EVERYTHING TASTES GOOD WITH WINE or just eat DESSERTS!
